License Renewal

Licensure Renewal concluded on February 28, 2011. If you have not renewed your license, it is now delinquent or null and void.

The Department of Business and Professional Regulation has improved online renewal for licensees. The enhancement to the new renewal system will allow for faster processing times and includes such features as:

  • Secure user registration and login
  • Forgotten password retrieval
  • Deficiency notices
  • Automatic renewal following payment of fees

Online Renewal

Online renewal is encouraged for all licensees. It's quick and easy. Here's what you need to do:

  1. Verify that your eight (8) hours of continuing education credits have been reported by your provider(s) by going to www.myfloridalicense.com and clicking on "Renew/Maintain A license."
  2. Login to your account using your email and password. If you are logging in for the first time since January 1, 2011, you will need to set up a new account. Your previous password will not work. If you receive a message regarding your activation code or your license being linked to another email account, you must call the Board office at (850) 521-0500 to request assistance.
  3. If you have the requisite amount of CE credits reported, then pay your fees and renew your license on or after November 15, 2010.

You may also wish to view a step-by-step PRESENTATION of the renewal process prepared by FBPE.
